When I’m bored and it’s Halloween, I make stuff like this:

I decided that since it’s Halloween, I’d upload some of the best (yes, based on my own opinion) gothic and/or spooky songs (that I might not like, but that amuse me)… or they just have something Halloween in their name… I tried not to ladden it down with Japanese music. Look… all but three songs are English, and two of those Japanese songs are instrumental, so they have no lyrics at all.
Yeah, and most of them are .m4a because I ripped them in iTunes and forget to change the option to .mp3. As always a * means I LOVE the song…
The Cruxshadows- Deception
Depeche Mode- Personal Jesus *
Gerard McMann- Cry Little Sister (Theme from the Lost Boys) *
Kozi- Zashiki Hitoya [J][I]
Malice Mizer- Bara no Souretsu [J][I] *
Mission UK- Deliverance *
Moi Dix Mois- Deus Ex Machina [J] *
My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult- A Daisy Chain 4 Satan
New Order- Dracula’s Castle *
Oingo Boingo- Dead Man’s Party *
Rasputina- Signs of the Zodiac
Seelenkrank- Mistress of the Dark
Sisters of Mercy- This Corrosion *
Type O Negative- Bloody Kisses (A Death in the Family)
Oh my god, I want this shirt…
Today, they brought the kids from the child study center on campus around the Darden Education building. Since I was in my ECI- Reading and Writing in Content Areas class at that time, they came through our classroom and circled up. They looked so cute in their costumes. I saw Batman, a jockey, a pirate, Superman, a snake, Snow White, and more princesses than I could count. It was adorable. They all had bags of candy, but instead of saying ‘Trick or Treat’ and letting us give them candy, they were saying ‘Trick or Treat’ and giving US candy. It was soooo cute. We were all a bunch of squealing girls watching them waddle around. They’re only 4-5, so they were beyond words adorable.
Then, in my Food and Culture in European History class, we ‘celebrated’ All Soul’s Day with Ossi dei Morti. They’re really hard cookies made to be like bones since ossi dei morti means bones of the dead. Anyway, they’re really hard cookies made of nuts, flour, water, sugar, lemon peel, and orange peel. My teacher used a Medieval recipe and they were so good. Sort of creepy considering what they were eaten for, but it was cool to eat knowing that the recipe was hundreds upon hundreds of years old. And pagan in origin. They were yummy, but I can’t seem to find the actual Medieval recipe, just modern takes on it. I’ll ask my teacher for it Thursday. She loves to share food stuff. And Roman stuff.
So far, I’ve gotten a perfect 100 score on two midterm exams. Only one left. I feel pretty positive about this semester since it’s over half over and I haven’t gotten anything below a perfect 100 score. Still, there are a lot of assignments to turn in. Keep your fingers crossed for me. One more semester to go… well, about that. If I can just keep my GPA up, I can graduate super goodlike.
