Okay, so I kind of slept all day. And by all day, I mean until 4pm. Alfee just has a really comfy bed! The mattress is just right, the pillows smell clean and I have an AC vent blowing directly on my feet and face. When you are that comfortable, it’s not easy to pull yourself up and out into the muggy heat of an August day. I would have stayed in the entire day, but I hate the thought of lying around all day without a shower and once you take a shower, you might as well get up. Plus, Alfee and I had to go back to Best Buy to return the defective hard drive.

I just threw on a pair of jeans and a The Smiths shirt. I didn’t even bother to put on make up. It seemed a lot of effort to make for just running down the street for 15 minutes before returning home. For some reason, I was too tired to entertain the thought of doing anything else. Anyway, Alfee and I are trying to save some money. It’s best just to hang out indoors, find stuff around the house to do, so that we aren’t tempted to spend a few dollars here and there that add up.

Of course, Alfee decided to be a jerk. I don’t even know what it was about… oh wait, I just remembered. He asked me if I wanted to do something and I said no. It was frustrating to me because he seemed upset, but he wasn’t willing to tell me what he wanted so that we could compromise. I would have agreed to a few hours out, not all day. That way, we could both get what we want. He refuses to do this, so instead of trying to pull it out of him and coax it out of him, I figure that I will let him do what he wants. If you’re not going to say what you want, then you don’t get it. That cut and dry and simple.

Of course, he got a massive attitude. And when Alfee gets a massive attitude, he speed walks. He walks, like, ten times faster than me. It just escalates his jerkdom, but I keep my mouth closed so that I don’t make a bad situation worse. No point in it.
